Are you sure? I just signing up for DL miles, and took screen shots to be careful. Looking back, it says:

Please continue your Netflix sign-up.
You will earn miles once you become a paying Netflix member. Please allow 8- 10 weeks from sign-up and qualification for miles to post to your SkyMiles account.
