The funny thing is that T&C say to enter a Dividend Miles number . . .for miles to post to your SkyMiles account! Mmm. . . maybe that is the trick I need to get my SkyPesos here!
Log out, and clear cookies if you wish, though I don't think they're detecting dupes with cookies.
If you want to make sure you aren't detected as a duplicate, make sure you do all of the following:
1) Use your real name (there's no way they de-dupe on this, as there are probably hundreds of Tim Browns, all different people).
2) Use a backup/different email address than you used before. If you don't have a spare that you are sure you didn't use previously, then just create a new one. Takes just a couple of minutes with Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc., and is free.
3) Use a different street address than you used before. If you aren't going to have them mail you DVDs, then it shouldn't matter what address you use *as long as* it passes the address verification check (if they do one) AND it hasn't been used by someone else in the past. Know an old couple down the street who would never bother with NetFlix? Well, there ya go!
4) Use a different phone number than you used before. You could make one up, but probably best to make it unique.
5) Use a different birthday and security questions/answers than you used before. If you are really worried about account access later, record them, but it really shouldn't matter if all you plan to do is cancel once you get the bonus points.
6) Use a different credit card/payment than you did before. If you used a credit card the first time, consider PayPal this time. If you don't have multiple credit cards, pay a friend $10 to charge $8 to theirs!
7) Don't use the same FF# from the same airline you've used in the past. That's a sure way they can detect dupes (not sure if they do, but would be easy/logical for them to). If you've received a Delta bonus before, do AA this time, for example.
Anything I missed? I don't think you need to go nearly to this extent... I didn't, and I've been able to get multiple bonuses. I just wanted to do a run-through because there are multiple people claiming that the system keeps recognizing them and I'm sure that if you follow all my steps that would solve your problem.
