I haven't had an opportunity to use the QF system. I use the NZ one quite a lot, typically for international. No queues and quick, so works well.
I haven't had any problems with the check in staff being busy - in Wellington, prior to using the electronic check in.

Would be nice to see this in Aus I must admit. Even the premium queue can get busy there..
