Local knowledge here:

Saskatoon isn't boring, the airport sure is! Not designed for layovers etc. There is free WiFi.

Food and drink options at the airport are ghastly and to be avoided.

Cab into the city centre is less than $20 and about 15 mins.

I really wouldn't stay in the airport for that length of time, I'll send you a PM.
