To most of you
I posted this just to help other hotel guests who value their privacy. This isn't about towels or tissues or toilet plungers. It's about the fact that it is a policy, sanctioned by the General Manager of the hotel, to search guest's rooms.
If you all enjoy someone going through your personal belongings when you are a guest at a hotel then not only are we not on the same page, we're reading from different books!
I personally feel that my rights were violated.
If you can't understand what is wrong with hotel staff searching an occupied room I suppose you would have been happy in Nazi Germany or in the Soviet Union under the rule of the KGB. Am I being dramatic? Yes, to make a point.
If any of you think this is appropriate hotel staff behavior then, different strokes for different folks.
As I said, I was just trying to be helpful to other travelers.
As for Private messaging the Gold Passport Concierge, I'm not familiar with how to do that. I usually just read FlyerTalk forums, I seldom post.
I invite the Concierge to email me at
[email protected] (or anyone else that wishes to contact me).
Happy Travels To All
