The poster specifically stated NRT. Levels in Tokyo peaked at around 20 times normal (not 1000). This level has since dropped and the peak is still considerably less than what you will get on your flight.
I was talking about the radiation at and around the reactor. At one point this morning it was at 400 millisieverts/hour (yes, I know it's since dropped off since then).
The media does not make it sound like the radiation levels (even in Tokyo) will not stay at it's low levels.
Which is why I've asked brarrr for some clarification on parts of his post.
