I would have to agree with the OP, as I often put extra towels in the dresser or closet at resort hotels if I am going to take more then one shower a day. There is nothing worse then wanting to shower and having to wait 45 mins to get a towel delivered. If I found that the hotel had gone through my stuff looking for towels I would be less then happy.

I am a bit confused by the story and the need to hide towels. I, too, sometimes take two showers a day when I am at a beach resort or use the gym in the evening, but never felt the need to hide towels. I shower in the morning, hang the towel up, reuse the same towel in the evening.
How do you know what end of the towel you dried your back end with the first time?:-)
