That's what is says but if you look at the language used for promoting A-club, i'm sure it promotes itself as being the club where points never expire!! Seems like a contradiction here.

Perhaps the 12 month thing relates to qualification for the correct tier membership? Or a case of false advertising?

This is what the intro to 'About A-club' says:

Earn A|Club points the fast way You earn A|Club points at more than 2300 hotels. Points never expire!

So there we go, it says points never expire. It seems they do in the case of the person above!
