I was "off line" for a few days due to business in a remote location and just signed back on to see what's happening! Couldn't believe this post was still on the front page - let alone on the top!
I think I may be sorry I brought the whole thing up.
However, I think most of you got my point -
Legal rights, moral obligations, capitalism etc. is one thing, but we all know that REAL customer service is what happens during "irregular operations" - that's what your loyal customers remember most. It's those companies who jump in and go above and beyond when road warriors need it most that earn my kudos and my repeat dollars.
