Also, after it moves forward and you do the in-person interview, how long until things are approved and you can use NEXUS or GE?

Speaking only re GE? Instantly. As it happened, I did my
GE at the DTW/Canada
land crossing. The CBP girl said it is live instantly and I had no problems coming into ATL a week later. ^
