fare for 4 costs more than fare for 1
I plan to book 4 fares for a trip from sfo to bcn on AC.com. When I priced the fare for one the price is 1469. If I price the fare for 4, the price/person goes up to 1613.

Anyway to circumvent this booking idiosyncracy? Should I book and pay for one person at a time? The flights are not full. Thanks in advance.
