If you are a regular to Tunica, you should not have to pay for your rooms. Call the Sheraton and ask for a Casino Host (I have heard Adele is good)Have them check your play, explain the award room situation and sweet talk them into a Gambler comp.
You need to convince them you are planning to gamble and don't want to take your money elsewhere. At the very least ask for a "Gambler Rate" and then check with that same host when you are ready to leave to see if they will write off the rooms for you. You do NOT need to be a high roller, but charm and persuasion help a lot! On my last trip we had free meals and free rooms and I won on the slots too. We are small time slot gamblers.
Don't leave the Sheraton unless you have too. I have stayed at Goldstrike (OK, but not great unless you get a suite) and Fitzgeralds (decent but not great either even in a suite, except when free). For more research on getting Casino comps in Tunica try the Tunica forum. They are very helpful.
