My usual LIN-CDG-DUB, one way Premium Economy, booking code S.

5:55 am, LIN airport
"sorry the second boarding pass can not be printed, the system is blocked
AF9801 (i.e. AZ300) was sold in S but for AZ it's just common economy, we do not have that cabin"

8:45 am, CDG airport, transfer desk
just manned by only one person: no way to use Elite desk
"here it is the boarding pass, economy... on this plane (Avro) we have no special economy class, next please"

8:58 am, CDG airport, AF lounge
"just wait there for the Clarins massage facility"

9:12 am
"why are you waiting, today no massage service"

9:40 am (initial boarding time)
boarding delayed by one hour, screen info

10:40 am (boarding time)
no priority boarding... second bus, ended up to sit in a cramped seat with my PC backpack between the legs

12:15 (GMT time) in DUB, after landing
"thank you for your understanding"


More or less business as usual, once I complained to AF and all I got was the usual "mumbo jumbo" ... use the on line check in, that for all the code share flights... well, it's out of their control... but after all I was even told that I could not really complain because at least I got the miles for the S class class. Did they knew I'm a FT member ?
