Having been on both sides of the visa divide, I agree. VoA (for much of developed world!) is a wonderful privilege to have; and I don't crib when filling out the visa application(s) for a handful of countries. This thread, somehow, just sounds.... arrogant.

I dont see many threads on how difficult it is and whats the point of asking xx question when someone is applying for an US or Schengen or for that matter a Russian visa.
If US, Schengen or other developed countries make some funny rule ( eg.. security checks in a specific way, TSA locks ) then its for national security but when others do something else then its not ok !!
