PWM is much closer to our camp and we certainly prefer flying into there. But I'll take a non-stop to MHT over a flight with layover (especially JFK or Laguardia) to PWM. However, Southwest will be flying into PWM as of late this year (per last info I heard). We'll just have to keep weighing options as we consider each trip.

This differs from the process over the last 10 years when we simply booked Southwest for all of our travel - because of the non-stops, decent fares and excellent rewards program. Southwest is making it very clear that we simply aren't the clientele they want anymore - that's their choice. We will now accordingly make our choice and perhaps there is an airline that does value our business.
