Karen, I managed to cancel my reservations for Bora Bora online a few weeks back. Got cancellation numbers and everything. Just to be safe, I suppose I'll call the concierge to confirm the cancellation.

On a side note, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who is cancelling and moving on. Sure I'd have loved to stay in Bora Bora for $80/night. Sure I was mildly disappointed when Starwood decided not to honor the rate. But frankly, its not worth my time and energy to fight it with the vigor that others on this board have.
