This has nothing to in the least with daylight savings; I have it on good authority that UA Marketing is behind it all...

Their diabolical scheme is to advertise all flights as departing and arriving an hour later than they actually will - throughout the remainder of 2011 and perhaps beyond. In this way, nearly all flights will arrive one hour or so "early" and then they can revive their "we're #1" mantra (they still have millions of promotional "#1" drink diapers stashed away in a warehouse and, until very recently, had no idea what they were to do with them all).

Seriously!

Eshited because (hiccup!) here in the US we're shelebrating St. Paddy's Day today an, well, that shoold (hiccup!) shay it all right there (hiccup!)...
