I echo the emphasis on the value of international C and F trips. During 2010, I redeemed 4 awards: 2 F trips to Southeast Asia (145K UA miles) and 2 C trips to New Zealand on Air NZ (135K UA miles).

Then there's the trip on the Concorde (160K DL miles), which was the trip of a lifetime.

I don't know how much those tickets would have cost, but I do know that it's far, far more than I would be willing to pay. I feel that's the best use for my miles.
