I just managed to secure tickets to Hawaii for this X-Mas from 25-31 December and was looking forward to using my SPG points for a nights and flights 5 day award package at a category 4 hotel. The res agent told me that all properties in Honolulu are completely sold out. Does this seem right? Are nights and flights capacity controlled? What is the best way to get a hotel in Hawaii over Christmas using SPG points?
