It is not widely reported but I know for a fact that I have read more than a couple articles in Japan newspapers about plant problems over the past decade. Transparent on at least this issue is not something the firms running these plants or the government is good about.

I hope the politicians in Japan can start working together for the good of their people instead of dumping out Prime Ministers like crazy. The FM just resigned for taking cash from a Korean national running a restaurant in Kyoto. How stupid. I think it is supposed to be like $600 bucks. Please.

Heard from Yasuki and he is fine. Our prayers and thoughts are with the people of Japan. Heading home now to be with my wife and make a decision on her planned trip to see her parents in Kyoto.
