Talking Please Remain Seated while the plane is taxiing?

First time flyer, first time poster!

(You would have never thought how to spell taxiing until you try to write it!)

Anyway, I was in Singapore scheduled to return to Hong Kong on Thurs via SQ 870 which is the last flight for SIN - HKG at 19:00. I had to hop up to KL for a meeting and I booked my itin. on SQ inside my exisitng SIN itin. I booked KUL - SIN SQ 5605 operated by MH 16:30 - 17:25. It was delayed by an hour and I would not make my connection. I tried to get SIN to rebook me on MH 74 KUL - HKG at 18:45 directly. They gave me a hard time because I was on a discount economy fare. I explained that this was easier and cheaper for everyone than rebooking me on CX 636 SIN - HKG at 20:05 after I had missed my flgiht in addition to the extra cost of have to deliver my bag when in it did not make the connection. I started giving them a hard time and they felt pretty sure I could still make the connection. I just laughed and said OK. I might not post much here but my dad worked for CO for 11 years, I flew 100k plus domestic the last 5 years and 200k plus in APAC last year.

So now that I have bored you with the background... I was seated in 28E on SQ 5605 (operated by MH as 605) 738, completely full. As we were making our approach 2 members of the flight crew approached me and said that I would be the first person off the aircraft per special instructions via SQ and should have my things ready. I looked ahead and back at the the crew and thought to myself unless moses parts the red sea, there is no way I am going to be the first person off this plane being in a middle seat of the second to last row. Then as soon as we landed the crew came to me and told me please follow them. I looked at them very puzzled? We had not even left the runway yet! I been on a lot of flights and never seen such a thing happen. But sure enough I was escorted to the front of the plane and instructed to stand in the galley while the plane taxied! I am pretty sure that this is blatantly forbidden by the FDA, but hey, I felt special. They had a cart and staff ready outside the aircraft as soon as the door opened and carted me around, but guess what.... I still missed the flight, was rebooked on CX 636 and had my baggage delivered the yesterday....
