Exit rows on the 319 are nothing like the 320. Frankly, we gave up selecting seats on 11/12 when we fly this bird. It's nice to sit a deuce when with a partner, but I swear the pitch in row 11 is less than the rest of E+. 12AF are great seats, but that means one of us has to sit in 12BE which we find very claustrophobic.
Honestly, I'd go with row 6. They have more pitch than any other Y seats, and I've had no problem accessing the aisle without needing others to get up. 6AF will be perfect for what you want to do, not to mention being a lot closer to the front of the cabin.
Agreed on all counts ^ (especially on row 6) and pretty safe if the 319 gets swapped to a 320 as well as with the exit rows, you could end up in e- on one version of the 320
