Too bad Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi Golf Resort & Spa won't be opening until September 1st 2012 ... well at least that the official opening date. I have stayed at the Novotel but its just a glorified 3-star hotel with inflated rates. I heard the same about Best Western Suvarnabhumi Hotel. But for one night, either of them will suffice. To get a better experience at these properties, get a status by matching or through one of these offers by Ric:

Otherwise, the SGS is awesome as usual, even for a 12-hour lay-over Rossini's menu has a ravioli-like pasta dish that it was the most delicious dish I have ever had: home-made 'pansotti' filled with roasted veal in truffle essence.
