Seriously, people here are so helpful, friendly, and patient. I feel very safe.

I'm glad that I spent the first night at the Hilton Narita. We landed about 5:00pm. I found an HSBC ATM and was on the hotel shuttle by 6:00pm and in bed by 7:00pm. If I had gone straight into Tokyo, I probably wouldn't have gotten to bed until 9:30pm.

The following morning, I left the Hilton Narita by 8:00 and took the hotel shuttle back to Narita for the N'Ex. I checked into the Conrad sometime around 10:30 and at 2:46 everything went wobbly.

No trains are operating today. I would like to venture out for a walk, but my husband is afraid that the hotel might shut down the elevators again. So, we will spend the day in the spa/gym on the 29th floor and go down to lunch on the 28th floor. He figures that he can walk back up to our room on the 37th floor from there if necessary, but not from the ground floor.

Anyone else at the Conrad currently?
