For the record, this appears to not be a problem. I applied online today and it didn't give me a decision, but I called them and talked to someone and they approved me without issue and are sending the card immediately. They did say the limit is lower than it would otherwise be because we already have one credit card from them -- sounds like if I cancel my existing BofA card, I'd be able to get a limit increase on the AS Visa.
