I typically book/ manage reservations using my MPC account and then change to AA at the airport so that I can collect AAdvantage miles. I always wonder whether or not my AA status (higher than MPC) shows up on the manifest as opposed to MPC.
I'd think, regardless if they print out preliminary manifests, the final manifest is updated at the last moment, after all the final processing of standbys, upgrades, seat changes, etc.
