I'm currently at the JW Marriott in Dubai. Although it's a fantastic property, they don't have wifi in the rooms, just hard wired Internet.
They do have wifi in the lobby and the pool area. This requires a code that can be obtained from the business centre.
When I asked at the business centre, in was told that the codes were not free for platinums, as I already had access in my room. Not much help on my iPad
There is also free wifi in the lounge, so it wasn't a big issue. I'd just liked to have had wifi by the pool.
Is this policy correct? Or should I be able to get free wifi wherever it is available throughout the hotel?
I'm angry at myself for not bringing my travel router. I've stayed at this hotel a few times and had forgotten about the lack of wifi in the rooms.
Cheers,
Rick
