Train from Trondheim to Oslo - several questions

When questions are about train travel I'm never really sure whether to post them in the European Rail forum or the relevant country/countries forum... but I thought I'd start here.

Three questions:

1) Is this a train journey worth doing? (I mean: Is it scenic?). I did it overnight some years ago but haven't done it during the day. (Please don't tell me to do Bergen to Oslo instead as I won't be in Bergen!!!)

2) Is there a good mobile phone/data coverage along the line? (There are reasons why I would need to be reachable on the day that I'm looking to make the journey)

3) I'm having problems getting the nsb.no web site to give me times and fares for my intended travel date. I think it's due to a bug...: I'm planning to travel on 10 June, which is just inside the 3 months window that the web site lets you look at (anything after 10 June is blanked out)... but when I click on the day the web site doesn't give me any fares, nor will it give me fares for the 9th (which I tried just as a test). It worked fine for the 7th (which I also tried as a test). My guess is that they made the 10th available for looking (but not for booking) a couple of days earlier than they should have done, and that fares will appear in a couple of days' time... what do the experts think?
