If Hilton wants to collect that information, they should just ask for it and not pretend it's some verification for something they don't have.

To the OP, I would just make up something and send it to them, and see if they verify it and respond. There's something very wrong with their request.
Frankly I find the Hilton Diamond Desk and its Diamond Program to have a lot of attitude. It is definitely not customer friendly and I have been a Diamond Member for several years but also a SPG Platinium member (which is a terrific program in comparison to HH Diamond!!!) and a former Hyatt Platinium Member and let me thrown in Priority Club Royal Ambassador as well. This is just to say that I have a lot of experience and it is very telling what these loyalty programs really deliver which is not much.

That is my conclusion. This is also largely based on a claim that I have outstanding with Hilton Diamond and to date I have had no satisfactory response from them. I am prepared to walk away from this program but I do not want to share my experience here publically for obvious reasons unitl it is resolved satisfactorily which it likely will not be given their attitude.
