Filed a claim today that came up as "XXX Team" rate. Checking the rate rules, there was no listing that a membership or any other ID form is required. There was no definition of what XXX Team is or might be. I did find the rate available on different nights...but not every night.

The claim was just declined, stating that as it is a previously negotiated membership rate it is ineligible for LNF. As there is no criteria of any kind stated in the rate rules (or anywhere else for that matter) I am not certain this refusal to honor LNF is correct.

I did check AAA, Senior, Military, and MR Member rates for this hotel - and they all list the ID requirement.

What is the "expert" opinion?
