Yes, you should but getting the bonus MR points from Hotel stays has been hit and mostly miss since this card was introduced in the UK almost a year ago.

I gave up after six months where none of my Intercontinental Hotels or SPG stays received bonuses automatically. All of them were eventually credited, but having to follow up every single one with Amex customer service was painful in the extreme.

In the end I got a Priority Club Visa to use with the IHG stays and even though the earn rate is nothing special, that it just works is great.

I still use the PR Amex Gold for all supermarkets (but not Marks and Spencer Supermarkets) , for all National Rail tickets (but not taxis nor Oyster), all petrol, and all overseas spend where its a claimable work expense. With these caveats, you should get your bonus points. Outbound spend always works too, but if your're spending your own money is probably not worth Amex's 2.99% fee and less than favourable exchange rates.
