I booked a flight on tuesday and just got the email about 10 minutes ago. I'm more worried about the emails about delays/cancelations not coming through. Has anyone has this problem? I haven't flown in a few weeks but have a very busy few weeks coming up
I had stopped getting the delay emails a couple of months ago. Then they came back with a vengeance. Yesterday's 4370 ATL-MEM changed 4 times in two hours. The departure went from 8:30 PM to 9:30 to 10 back to 9:30 and finally back to the original 8:30. Got an email on each one. And my cell and home phone rang off the hook.
BTW, it experienced a mechanical and didn't depart until 11:30 PM. FA "heard" a whining noise she had never heard before. Seatmate cracked that it was impossible since his wife was not on the plane. They kicked us off the plane at 9:40 and I ran and caught the normal 10 PM departure.
