Not to offend, but what gives in this forum?
Wrath will come but here goes.
I just joined the forum recently hoping to exchange information and get know some of the CX travelers. But on one thread, happened to exchange pleasantries with a fellow CX traveler and was quickly advised to cease the social greetings. Ok good.
Now another guy is seeking, what was perfectly logical to me, information about transferring thru HKG. Being CX experts, it made sense that someone seeking advise on how best to navigate the practicalities of going thru HKG would come to the CX people for the real story, as we all know that airport pretty well. The thread was promptly shut down in true unwelcoming fashion, and the poor guy left to his own devices.
Is there a kinder, gentler way we can have rules imposed and not dissuade those who are trying to get information or interact with the community of CX people (within and outside)? After all, we all have some common interest. There's nothing worse than being on a flight with a crew who has it out for you! Any chance we can lighten up?
