I don't agree that the antenna "issue" was overblown. I know quite a few people that work in Washington, DC that have had (and are still having) issue with their iphone 4 dropping calls when other models don't. Like anything else, if you ask enough people you will get the full spectrum of possible answers so, YMMV.

I am waiting for iphone 5g before I decide if I will get an apple device or an android device for my next phone. Or maybe I will wait another couple of years. I only use my phone for calling, I don't even send sms' that much so I am in no immediate need.
