Decaffeinated Coffee in Japan

Few Japanese have had a habit of drinking decaf.
In 2010, 0.3% of total consumption of coffee is decaf but it was doubled compared to five years before.

Foreign tourists may find it difficult to buy a cup of decaf. Until today one of the few places I can think of is Starbucks. But from April 5, 2011, Decaf may be available for purchase nationwide. Asahi Soft Drink is going to sell canned decaf coffee for 124 yen +tax.
