Sheraton Rio (Leblon) - bad experience

Staying in the Sheraton (Leblon) right now. It was a mess - I arrived late from EZE, had a lady from the tourist information call a few hotels from the airport to check if they have high-speed Internet access (forgot to check that on the web in advance). A few (cheaper) hotels said no, the Sheraton said yes. I arrived at the check-in, asked again if my room has high-speed Internet access (I had to send some very large presentations to Europe). The lady at the check-in said yes again. I arrive in the room - only a modem port. I call the reception. They offer to transfer me to a "smart room". Only difference is that there is a fax machine standing there. I call the reception again, they don't even understand what I am talking about until I am transfered to the hotel operator. That guy finally tells me there are absolutely no rooms in the hotel with high-speed Internet access (cable or wireless). I get upset because this was the whole reason that I came over here from the airport shortly before midnight even though I have an early flight out again. Finally, they offer to let me use the business center, which is normally closed at this hour.

That's where I am sitting now. Not the same as in the room, but at least I could get my presentations through.

Anyway, bad experience - oh, and another thing was that the lady at the check-in said the best available rate was a much higher price than what was quoted when the lady from the tourist information called. Only after I mentioned the discrepancy, she "miraculously" found the lower rate. As far as I can tell, no room upgrade either (how can I even tell the difference?? At Hilton, it is pretty clear with their executive floors and stuff, plus, they give you lounge access and all that.))
