Catching up on this a year after the fact, I'm happy to say we were pretty pleased with the Delta in Charlottetown. It is nothing fancy - but was very clean, in good condition and well located.

The indoor pool was nice - though they were strict on a one-towel-per-person rule in a way I've never seen a hotel act. Their small kids pool was nice, though closed one day when we were there for no apparent reason. (even the pool area clerk said she didn't know why)

The restaurant is serviceable.

The bar staff was very nice. Room service was a surprisingly quick. While they didn't have mini-bars, they would deliver drinks to your room from the bar - frankly at prices less than you'd pay to take a beer from a mini bar.

Maybe the best way to put it - I was expecting a holiday inn and got a crowne plaza instead?

We have family up in pei and have already made bookings to return to this hotel next year.
