OK, so the official start of spring is still nearly two weeks off. Yet United sends out "My Mileage Plus" e-mails promoting spring e-fares:

"Plan a spring getaway with E-Fares.

Now is a perfect time to plan your spring getaway with weekend E-Fares. Hurry, these great deals don't last long."

Yet following the link reveals that all but "domestic this week" are still "no longer available."

So I guess you can "plan" a spring e-fare getaway but not actually reserve one?
