Did you see the email from DL a few months back noting that they now require check-in 45 minutes before departure? I have very occasionally gotten stuck in a long security line at DCA, but generally I agree that you can make it from curbside to gate in 10-15 minutes. I thought the change was a bit overkill. Then again, check in online, no worries.
