I've done a few searches, and can't really find anything like I see for other cities, which is a basic compare/contrast on the hotels for that particular chain in that location.

From what I can see there are properties:
* CrownePlaza CityCenter or "the new CP" or Azrieli Center
* CrownePlaza, "the old CP", on Hayarkon street
* Intercontinental David
(Intercontinental Jericho removed due to apparently being out of business)

I can find a few isolated & outdated threads for 2 of these properties, but nothing like a central discussion point. Thought would be nice to have one.
If there is already one, mods please relo this thread and chastise me, but I did search a bit this morning before posting this.

My personal situation:

I'm beginning work trips into TLV here just next week, and will combine with a personal weekend stayover to explore a bit. Am aiming for ICHG since I already hit Platinum with them for the year in midFeb.
(way too much travel this year - barf).

For purpose of advice, I'll be there for business 2days and play 2 days.
I'm just cresting the hump of 40, single, active/fit, a bit of a foodie, into craft brews & wines. Not much for shopping, mildly interested in religious architecture. I live on a beach in San Diego, so the beach would be nice but not necessary. One the company dime so price isn't as much of a factor as it might be, plus I still have free night coupons from the 2010 promo and a ton of points.

Any suggestions or advice on where to stay?
