Interesting. I decided to use the online form, and this is the response I got:

"We have reviewed your reservation under Delta confirmation number
XXXXXX. Your reservation is booked under "T" class of service which is
not eligible for upgrade."

I'm flying with a non-medallion companion, but shouldn't it still read "Upgrade Requested"?
