Anyway, I'm not actually looking for travel headphones. I'm fine with my Shure SE110s, which are technically my everyday headphones. Though I am having trouble with hooking the cord over my left ear.

What I'm looking for is cheap headphones that I can use at home when I don't feel like pulling the others out of my purse. They don't need to be noise-cancelling or noise-isolating. They just need to not hurt my ears when I put them on and cost less than $40. I've broken two pairs this weekend.

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
They are more than $40 but I'd second the recommendation for Grado SR - 60's. They are $80 (used to be 60 but I haven't bought a pair in a long time) but are comfy and sound almost as good as their more expensive brethren, and MUCH better than the typical $30-40 headphones you'll find at Best Buy or the like. I got my first SR-60's almost 25 years ago, and still use them in my office, although I have had to replace the foam a few times over the years.

Bob
