I enjoyed Treasure Island. Based on my history with Marriott as a business traveler - I've stayed at Coutyard in Kansas City, Residence Inn in Portland Maine, JW at LAX, Marquis in ATL, and what feels like a gazillion places in between. Each of them have been steller from the lowest cost brand to the top. I've only hit one snag - and that was this particular RI. I thought I'd share my thoughts with my fellow FT'rs ...
I love pets. I have a dog that I treat better than myself.
I think she would travel well and have a grand old time at the beach - but I wouldn't let her make a mess of someone else' property. As a hotel ... As a MARRIOTT - I would expect them to be a little more diligent on the sanitation of their common areas. I had a great room - it was just in the wrong hotel.
Next time I visit the area - I'll find someplace else and even if the atmosphere doesn't change - the cost will be cut in half. : D
