Hey Y'all....
I'm on FT often, but never before in the TK forum... I did some searching, and have a better idea, but still have a question or two....
I have booked a Y award ticket from Chicago (ORD) to Seoul (ICN) on TK (via IST) for a dependant, and I'm a little worried for him since he is only 18

, and I don't have a lot of knowledge about TK, or Eastern European airports. He's a little nervous flying on his own anyway, let alone via Istanbul, Turkey.
I wanted to offer him some guidance on what to do when he gets off the airplane in IST, but I have no idea. If he is going from TK to TK, will it be a relatively easy change? He has plenty of time on the ground (
about 5 hours), so I'm not worried about time, just the confusion of (
what it seems is) a very busy airport....
I'm assuming he won't need a visa or anything, because it is simply a transfer.... Also, since he has so long to wait once he finds the flight to Seoul, does anybody know if there is a pay lounge or something he could use while he's there?
Thanks so much for any information anybody can provide!

Sincerely,
