One might think a one cabin updgrade from coach is not available. But if the aircraft only has a first class cabin, and not a business class cabin, an upgrade is available from coach to first (indicated by "NF1"). If the 757 does have first and business, then you're out of luck. So, when checking availability in this case the key is knowing how many cabins the 757 has. Can KVS show this? Thank you.

The Booking Classes shown in Availability displays are indicative of the cabin configuration, i.e. if C/D/Z (Regular) or XC/NC (Award/Upgrade) Booking Classes are shown for a particular flight, then that flight does have a C cabin.

Using your example above, if you see NCx (including NC0), then it's a 3-cabin flight. A 2-cabin flight would have XF/NF/XY/NY. A 1-cabin flight would only show XY/NY.
