I'm in the process of booking hotels for my trip to India with 3 of my good friends.

I'm new to using points/C+P, and I didn't realize that there was a 2 persons per room limit for award nights. I've searched the forum and read that some hotels have a 2 person per room limit due to fire restrictions, etc.

I'm looking to stay in:

ITC Mughal, Agra
Le Méridien Jaipur or Four Points by Sheraton Jaipur, City Square
Sheraton Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa

I noticed that all these hotels either have the option of 1 King bed or 2 single beds. Is it possible at all to book the rooms and then contact the hotels to arrange to have an additional roll-away to accommodate all four of us? Is this even possible? Will we face more/higher taxes?

Does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to ensure that four of us can stay in a room? Or will I have to end up booking 2 rooms? I noticed that even when I try to find rooms for 4 ppl in India on SPG. com, nothing shows up. Thoughts?
