In a subtle way, by telling people they should mind their own business when it comes to illegal or dangerous behavior, you're condoning the practice. Everyone in our community should be speaking up against the practice of barebacking with unknown partners - it's dangerous and spreads disease.

Drugs are illegal and contribute to poor decision making (see above). I don't have a problem minding my own business if someone is doing drugs in their home, as I've stated, but when it's being done in a public place, I draw the line. When it's being done in a public place right under the noses of the police who can see/smell it and they refuse to do anything because it's a big tourist event (while their colleagues are beating people up a few miles away in Overtown), that's just plain wrong. It has nothing to do with sexual orientation and everything to do with appropriate public behavior. I wouldn't tolerate people on a "straight" cruise doing drugs in public, nor should it be tolerated on a "gay" cruise....or bar...or beach...or whatever. I've spoken out about the behavior that goes on during Hip Hop week in Miami Beach - same issue, different group of participants.

I don't see any slippery slope. I do see the same arguments I've been hearing for years from prospective suitors I've automatically rejected because they're into the circuit scene - it's just fun....it's our own business...no one is getting hurt...these are all good people....don't judge us....they are my real family....no one understands us....yada yada.
