This is the issue, I believe. They don't allow multiple separate sessions at the same time. If I am away for a while and go back, I'll get a message indicating that the session isn't valid, with several possible reasons:
1. Being idle too long (my case)
2. Opening the session in multiple browser windows (the OP's issue).
3. Some others that I don't recall.
I don't know https:// protocols well enough to know if there are easy ways around this, but many other secure sites do have this issue, so it's not specific to AA.com. I just don't know how fixable it is. I do know that it's not advisable on any site where one is buying things...for just this reason.
Certainly expected that web services should (and did) fix the mistake purchase.
