So honestly, it seems to be very hard / impossible to get F award upgrades on A 380 unless you are a HON, SEN is not enough...

I have used 2 evouchers recently to upgrade from D to F on FRA-NRT. Was waitlisted for quite a while but 3 days before departure all cleared.

And yes, as far as I have been told A380 F as award or upgrade is SEN/HON-only.
However I wouldn't say it is hard to get.
