Is it time for a passenger charter...from the passengers ?
Is it time for a passengers charter to be put in place.?
Not some hum drum BS dreamt up the mindless marketing department at AC (Ombudsmen)...
I mean something with real clout.
When I send a letter to AC or another Airline complaining about this or that (I do also send letters when the service is excellent), All I get is the standard reply...bla bla bla...
Its like waiving a finger in the Albert Hall...no one takes any notice.
As Canadians we have little choice who we can fly with, and when you have AC who continually bully the flying public and take dollars from our pockets for what can only be describe as a very poor service indeed.....If this was any other industry that had fair competition we would quickly go elsewhere.
AC bully the competition into submission every time there is a serious challenge to there dominance, and the government lets them.!
Why can't we as passengers say " enough is enough".
With six million aeroplan members it would not be hard to form a group that could put pressure on the airline, I don't want to be hard on them I just want what's fair...
Comfort.
On time flights
A meal at my choosing not the airlines.
Polite airline staff
A response to my letters
competitive prices
clean aircraft
I don't mind paying for a good service, I do mind paying for the **** I am getting at the moment.
Now....How we go about doing this, I don't know....Maybe some of the more articulate members could word an open letter to all Aeroplan members which could be published in the national press.....we could direct people to a website, were they could sign up and maybe pledge a donation with a major CC, with the funds used to take action against AC...
Come on guys lets stop complaining about what we are being dealt....lets give it to them !!
Bang goes me ever getting a comp upgrade.....not that I have ever had one in almost 700k miles.!!
